Education

St. John's offers a wide range of educational opportunities for all ages. This life-long process begins with Cradle Roll, which is a mailing that provides parents and young children with messages about faith development. When the child turns the age of three, he or she is invited to join our Sunday School program. Sunday School classes are held weekly on Sunday mornings from 9:15 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. from September through June and are provided for people of all ages.

Bibles are presented to students in third grade as part of our support for their on-going faith development and in support of the promises parents made when their children were baptized.

Confirmation Ministry classes begin in sixth grade and continue through eighth grade. Confirmation (Affirmation of Baptism) is celebrated on the Day of Pentecost.

An Adult Sunday School class is offered for adults.

Vacation Bible School is held for one week during the summer for children age 3 through grade five.

St. John's has an active youth group for those in grades 6 through 12, who meet monthly to enjoy a program or activity and fellowship. They participate in community clean-up events, hold dinners and sell hoagies to benefit specific charities or efforts.

St. John's Christian Preschool
St. John's Christian Preschool is open to children ages 3 and 4 from both St. John's and the community. Emphasis is placed on Christian faith development and Kindergarten readiness.
