Mary Bealer: Steward of the Month – April 2019

My name is Mary Bealer and I am a member of this church for about 37 years. When my family moved to Emmaus, we decided to join a church in the community. We were Lutheran and St. John’s became the place.

I am a retired nurse, my last position was a Women’s Health Care Nurse Practitioner. I worked in a large OG/GYN practice for LVPG.

Being involved in many activities is what I do and who I am. I like people. I like being Lutheran, because we believe we are saved by grace, we ordain all people who qualify for ordination, and we care about our neighbor’s needs.

Therefor I am involved in Eucharistic Ministry, GIFT committee, Outreach committee, Education committee, Adult Sunday School, BYOB [Women’s Bible Study Group}, KFC [Knitting for Charity], VBS, deliver flowers, Prayer Partner, Lecturer, and work in the kitchen. I think that is about it.

I feel very privileged to be associated with St. Johns church.
