Welcome to St. John's

Blue Christmas Service: Sunday, December 18 at 3 p.m.

All of us experience losses in life. Some of those losses are more difficult to deal with than others. Many people who are living with loss find it difficult to sing “Joy to the World” and other joyful carols of the Christmas season.

The “Blue Christmas” Service is a chance for those who are living with loss to gather with others and acknowledge the “blue” feelings they have at Christmas time, the reasons for them, and offer them to our great sign of hope, the Christ Child.

The service includes scripture, prayer, music, meditation, candle lighting, prayers for healing, and communion.

Whether it is the loss of a loved one, the loss of a relationship, the loss of health, the loss of a job, or some other loss, everyone who seeks healing and hope in dealing with their loss is welcome to attend this service.

Join us for fellowship/refreshments in the Parish Hall following the service.
