St. John’s Lutheran Church, Emmaus, is seeking a PT Lead Preschool Teacher for St. John’s Christian Preschool (beginning in September). The Lead Teacher plans and implements a developmentally appropriate curriculum with a focus on play, spiritual, social, emotional and physical development. The Lead Teacher maintains attendance records and weekly lesson plans and supervises assistant teachers or volunteers. A bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Special Education, Elementary Education or a Human Services field is preferred. The Preschool Director develops and implements the curriculum and supervises the staff and day-to-day activities of St. John’s Christian Preschool. The Director is responsible for the Preschool budget; recruitment and orientation of students for the fall term; and welcomes students and parents with an open house and orientation before the fall term. A bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Special Education, Elementary Education or a Human Services field is preferred.
