	The mission of St. John’s Christian Preschool is to prepare young children for academic, social and spiritual success by providing them with the tools they will need for a well-rounded life and a personal, loving relationship with God. Developmentally appropriate curriculum and personalized activities are implemented in the classroom. A variety of teaching techniques reflect our belief that every child learns in his or her own way. Some of our teaching methods include self-discovery, small group activities, large group experiences, literacy and mathematical explorations, art projects, learning centers and dramatic play. Christian Connections and thematic units foster both a love of learning and a love of our Lord. All preschool employees are required to have a current Criminal Background Check and a Child Abuse Clearance. .


	Class Schedules Classes run September through May 3-Year-Old Class: 2 days/week 9:15 - 11:45 4-Year-Old Class: 3 days/week 9:15 - 12 noon	Class Schedules

	3-Year-Old Program: $100 / month 4-Year-Old Program: $120 / month Plus a $40 non-refundable registration fee per family	Tuition Rates

	Three-Year-Old Program^# Intellectual Development* ● Exposure to the alphabet ● Counting numbers 1-10 ● Basic shapes and colors ● Pre-emergent literacy activities Emotional Development ● Build independence, self-confidence and a positive attitude ● Encourage curiosity, eagerness to learn, personal interests Social Development ● Sharing, fair play, group activities and learning experiences ● Developing compassion, understanding and tolerance Physical Development ● Gross motor skills (running, jumping and balance) ● Fine motor skills (holding crayons, writing activities, scissor skills) Spiritual Development ● Daily prayer, weekly chapel, Pastoral leadership ● Emphasis on a personal relationship with God ● Christian values and fellowship

	Four-Year-Old Program ^# Intellectual Development ● Writing first and last name, upper and lowercase letter identification ● Counting numbers 1-20 ● Shapes and early math skills ● Emerging literacy development Emotional Development ● Build independence, self-confidence and a positive attitude ● Encourage curiosity, eagerness to learn, personal interests Social Development ● Sharing, fair play, group activities and learning experiences ● Developing compassion, understanding and tolerance Physical Development ● Gross motor skills (running, jumping and balance) ● Fine motor skills (holding various writing instruments, writing activities, scissor skills) Spiritual Development ● Daily prayer, weekly chapel, Pastoral leadership ● Emphasis on a personal relationship with God ● Christian values and fellowship

	* Children must be able to use the bathroom independently ^#Children must reachclass age by September 30th
