Please sign up on the sheet on the bulletin board next to the Parish hall if you are available to join in for all OR part of the time to help make St. John’s look its best in so many ways. From weeding the outdoor beds, polishing the sanctuary, repairs and specific jobs in getting our apartment next-door ready for rent, you can indicate on the sign-up sheet where you can help. A light lunch of hamburger BBQ, chips, dessert and drinks will be served. Coffee will be available as well. Many hands make work lighter. Please lend your hands and energy to make this day a success.

Please mark your calendars to come vacation at Surf Shack. Games, stories, music, art and science activities all focus on the theme our God is an Awesome God who creates, helps, loves, calms and sends us all to do the same in His name.

We’re beginning to set up the staff, gather materials. If you are interested in “catching the volunteer wave” station leaders and helpers, crew leaders, cooks and servers are always needed, welcomed and appreciated. St. John’s Lutheran Church, Emmaus, is seeking a PT Lead Preschool Teacher for St. John’s Christian Preschool (beginning in September). The Lead Teacher plans and implements a developmentally appropriate curriculum with a focus on play, spiritual, social, emotional and physical development. The Lead Teacher maintains attendance records and weekly lesson plans and supervises assistant teachers or volunteers. A bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Special Education, Elementary Education or a Human Services field is preferred.
