St. John’s Sunday School children gathered together for a program where they learned about Holy Week. There were streamers as Jesus’ ride to Jerusalem on a donkey was re-enacted. The students also learned about The Last Supper by sharing bread. The assembly was followed by an egg hunt.
St. John’s began Holy Week with a very special Palm Sunday service that featured the children’s choir and other musicians.
St. John’s opened its doors to the community on Saturday, April 12 for our Easter Egg Hunt. We had more than 2,300 eggs that were donated. And, there were about 100 children who participated in the egg hunt…many from the community surrounding St. John’s. We are truly thankful for this wonderful event.
