Save A Life! AED Training To Be Rescheduled

Due to the upcoming inclement weather the CPR training has been postponed. A new date will be announced soon.

February is the month that the American Heart Association designates for the promotion of “heart health. In light of this, we encourage you to think not only of your valentine, but to reflect on your own health status and also encourage you to think about how you might acquire skills to save a life.

Saving a life at our church is as easy as following the calming instructions from the simple-to-use AED voice prompts. You may have noticed that St. John’s has two AEDs for use by both our congregation and community members that use our facility. Heart saving CPR/AED training will be offered. Attendees will earn a CPR certification.

Sign-up sheets (at no cost to the participant) are located on the bulletin board outside of the Parish Hall. Please feel free to contact Joan Collette (moonriver9658@aol.com) if you have any questions.

St. John’s and Shared Youth Ministry (SYM) Snow Tubing Feb. 22

You are invited to a SUPER FUN day of SNOW TUBING on SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 22 from 3:00 – 6:30 p.m. at Bear Creek Mountain Resort, 101 Doe Mountain Lane, Macungie, PA 18062, (610) 682-7100 (www.skibearcreek.com).

$29 per person – bring snack money separately that day :)

All youth, family, and friends are invited!

Need firm RSVP and payment by Sunday, February 9th

Week days you may give your payment to Linda Rebuck in the Church Office open M-F from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sundays February 2nd or 9th, you may give your payment to Tina Guida, DCE or Jess Newhard, Breakfast Club and SYM Coordinator. I will be in my office 9:00-9:15 to collect payments or text me to find me at (610) 849-6337. Cash or Check accepted – you may make checks payable to: St. Johns’ Lutheran Church and put “Snow Tubing” and # of family members in the check memo.
