The Stewardship Committee is holding a 100 Year Fellowship in the Parish Hall Sunday, June 9 after the church service. Our church building turns 100 years old this year (1924 – 2024) and this is just the start of the celebration. Please, join us for refreshments and sweet treats that were popular in 1924. Everyone is invited.
Please sign up on the sheet on the bulletin board next to the Parish hall if you are available to join in for all OR part of the time to help make St. John’s look its best in so many ways. From weeding the outdoor beds, polishing the sanctuary, repairs and specific jobs in getting our apartment next-door ready for rent, you can indicate on the sign-up sheet where you can help. A light lunch of hamburger BBQ, chips, dessert and drinks will be served. Coffee will be available as well. Many hands make work lighter. Please lend your hands and energy to make this day a success.
Join us on Tuesday, June 18 at 6:00 pm. for our end of the year picnic. Food, games and fun!! There will be Boom Box Bingo for a night guaranteed to test our memory of old songs. Enjoy the last WELCA meeting of the 2023-24 year and let us know if you would like to see any programs scheduled for next year.
