Shared Youth Ministry

One of the exciting new ministries at St. John’s is our Shared Youth Ministry (SYM) with Holy Spirit and Grace Lutheran. We welcome Vicar Jonathan Steiner, who heads up this ministry, to St. John’s.

Folks from St. John’s were at Cat Camp at Bear Creek, kicking off the shared ministry for Jr. High youth. The theme was Learning about Worship. They spent the weekend getting to know each other, boating and swimming at the lake, working together, conquering the High Ropes, and planning creative worship.

A BBQ kicked off the shared ministry for Sr. High youth. There was a great turnout for the event. Lots of great food, conversation, icebreakers and games!
