The Epiphany of Our Lord: Jan. 10

The Cycle of Christmas (Christmastide) has three seasons: Advent, Christmas, and Epiphany. The Epiphany of Our Lord is January 6th a fixed date, like December 25th for Christmas Day. We will celebrate this Festival on Sunday, January 10th, at our regular morning worship services by means of a special order of worship. Scripture lessons that mark Jesus’ life from the visit of the Wisemen (The Epiphany of Our Lord) to the baptism of Jesus in the river Jordan will be accompanied by Epiphany carols and prayers. The service culminates in the greatest Epiphany of all – Jesus’ revelation to us in bread and cup at holy communion. The service is already on your calendar! Don’t miss it . . . or, better yet, bring a friend.
